Let's get serious. That great painting by George Niederaruer cannot be documented that F&CC 3 & 20 had green boiler jackets. I doubt if color film was availible when the F&CC took delivery of those 2 locos. I helped remove the boiler jacket of 20 back in the eighties when John Bush fabricated replacements. There were not any traces of green paint on the old jacket. What written proof was there that the 3 F&CC locos.(
RGS 20,22, &25 had green jackets.)? I backed your green painting of the K-36 in Chama, as there was proof. I think claiming that the F&CC locos had green jackets is a stretch. In the words of that great philospher Gaylord Farquar, "No chingada mi ferrocarril".
I'm open to rebuttal on my position, anyway it could start a whole new thread.
