Unfortunately none of the geared engine builders stamped their boilers like Baldwin did with a serial number. Climax and Heisler didn't even build their own boilers, the Union Iron Works of Erie, Pa. did. Some of the few drawings I have on the Climax come from there. There are Hartford insurance and inspection stamps but the Oregon office apparantly trashed the files years ago.
