The January 1 1886 U.P.R.Y. Colorado division Bridge and Building and other structures (reprint still available at CRRM giftstore) shows Platte River M.P. 112.7 a water tnk, pump hse, coal bin, section hse (sec #121) hand car hse, 2 bunk hse and a water closet. The bridge over the Platte River (46 ft.) is at M.P. 112.8 The longest bridge on the South Park Line (317 ft.) is over High Creek at M.P. 107.3. At M.P. 113.7 only a telegraph office is listed with no station name. Could this telegraph office 1 mile west of Platte River be the sight of the Weston depot that is mentioned in the 1880 Fairplay Flume article?
