Yes, there were 4 coach seats, one in each corner of the cupola. After RGS 0401 was blown up in 1958, the City of Boulder threw much of the peices of the body in the trash. A now retired CU professor saved the seats and some other odds and ends from the dumpster and kept them in his garage for 40 years before he gave them to me in 1998 or so. I was going to use them in the restoration of D&RGW 04990, but evidence in 04990(outlines of the seats on the wall) indicated that it did not use the coach seats in the cupola, so I assembled two seats from the wreckage and donated them to the Ridgway RR Museum. Also, for what it is worth, 0401's interior was painted silver at the end, as every salvaged component is painted silver. There are traces of the standard caboose green beneath the silver.
