The Ghost Town & Calico Railroad uses both - depending on the surface to which the lettering is being applied.

Our coaches have been stenciled by hand over the tongue&groove siding, while vinyl lettering is employed on most smooth surfaces. Our freight cars were hand-stenciled by Randy Babcock when he was still with us.

It helps to have access to Knott's Berry Farm's talented graphic arts department staff.
