Nice. Even though there is no sun on the smokebox, I like this image cause it shows the pair are working thanks to the smoke. Also like the depot, and can even see a church in the background. I shot here in 1968 and all that was there was a sign for "Allison" when we shot 498.
Here is a shot eastbound on June 4, 1968 with 498 headed for Gato & Chama. Looks like its downgrade here, as apposed to the shot you have where both engines seem to be working hard.
