Kerr, Stuart & Co. built three locomotives (const. #s 819, 820 and 821) for the FCI. They were built in 1904 and carried road #s 73, 74 and 75, which they still carried in 1930. They were classified as A-8 on the Ferrocarriles Interoceanico (FCI).
Incidentally, two more locomotives (const. #s 822 and 823) were probably part of the same order and numbered 76 and 77 on the San Marcos and Tocolutla, becoming #s 142 and 143 in 1930 on the Ferrocarriles Oriental.
When the FCI came under the auspicies of the N de M in 1930, the three Kerr, Stuart & Co. locomotives continued in service until the mid- 1960s, #73 and #75 being laid aside in 1968, #74 retired 3-13-65.
The above info is from Gerald M. Best's "Mexican Narrow Gauge", Howell-North, 1968. There's a photo of #74 at Cauatla as modernized on p. 160 of Best's book.
