A similar style bridge to the ones near Navajo lake is what I've been suggesting C&TS use to replace Lobato.
Appropriate historically, and a stronger more modern design then Labato. Actually they are likely the most modern on the old D&RGW narrow gauge. The construction of Navajo reservoir required a line relocation and these new bridges in the early 1960s.
The span photographed by Chatzi473 is a short section. There is a similar multi-span bridge nearby (see photo below) that would be an ideal design to replace Labato if the original design is deemed too costly to reconstruct.
Nice set of pics. My dad an I have explored this section of the abandoned line several times. Thankfully we were able to see the Gato (Pagosa Junction) tank while it was still standing and when the Gomez store was still there.
