Here is 483 ready to depart eastbound; milepost 303 has been repainted in the old white-on-black 'D' style and is on the tender deck for transport back (to milepost 303):
A boxcar-eye view of the south yards, 489 is on the left with the 0452, and Derrick OP on the right.
On the other side of the derrick boom on a flat is another Scenic Railways project, the boiler and cab of an ex-Hawaiian 2-4-0 (I think, could be wrong) teakettle The rear of the Plateau gas station is also in the frame:
Another of 489, the only K not to be repainted in the early years, 0452 is still in "Denver and Rio Grande" movie paint. Farther down on this track sit the Bernie Watts' passenger cars.
