Steve,

Thanks for posting those last two photos. I am very interested in this period of history and would appreciate any other photos that you care to post on the topic.

Looking at that temporary trestle, and considering placing loaded dump cars on it, it must have been a fine line between building too much trestle and too little trestle.

It looks like that water might be a lake. I wonder if it would be possible to find the site today.
