This article from KOB indicates that, what I think is the old railroad bridge in Aztec, is to be renovated and open to the public as part of a trail:

Note that the Durango Herald has pictures of a completely different bridge, the old automobile bridge that is next to HWY 550:

This site (https://historicbridges.org/bridges/browser/?bridgebrowser=newmexico/cedarhillbridge/#photosvideos), linked from the Durango Herald, has a picture that matches the one from the KOB article but it says it was a highway bridge, not a railroad one. If it's not the old D&RGW bridge, where would that have been in relation to this one?

Edit: Hmm, maybe the RR crossed the Animas north of here and was on the east side of the river in this area and didn't cross here at all?
