Was noodling on the RR Museum of PA website and I noticed they had two passes from the narrow gauge Toronto & Nipissing Rly in Ontario. It billed itself as the first scheduled, common carrier narrow gauge in North America and we had a discussion about that here. [
ngdiscussion.net]. Anyway, I had never seen passes from this railway before, so they were a great find.
Do any of the pass collectors on the forum have one of these? Either from the T&N or the line’s sister Toronto Grey & Bruce Rly? If so, I’d like to hear from you as paperwork from these lines is very cool to find.
Here’s one of the passes, for 1882 - I think the line’s last year as a narrow gauge. The other is identical, for 1881.
Cheers,
Ralph
