The Lone Ranger

I just seen the movie The Legend of the Lone Ranger and really enjoyed seeing some C&T footage. The water tank at Osher is still frozen with ice on the lower part of the tank and the snow in the mountain's tell's me it must be early spring in the San Juan's.And looking east from the tank the meal house had not been built yet must be the 1980's? The K 36 used in the movie has some brass around the steam and sand dome up top of the locomotive as well as a differant stack and head lamp to mack it look older. Is this the 484? Just courious if someone could tell me which coach's where used in the movie? It's GREAT to see the Colorado Narrow Gauge show up so many times in the movies over the years! Can't beat the scenery in the San Juan's, no wonder it's such a great place, Mountains and the Steam Narrow Gauge! Can't help but be proud of our Colorado Narrow Gauge as seen through the cameras eye! Kevin Williams Royal Gorge Region
