Re: Goose 5 at Railfest

At Railfest I rode the Goose on Tuesday, the final day, from Silverton to Durango.
It was my fourth time, in 2005 I rode the Goose at Railfest, the other two times was at the Cumbres & Toltec.
We set an all time Goose record, 17 photo runbys, quite a few at obscure locations only accessible with small groups. Amazing pictures.
The lighting the entire day was stunning, Josh our D&S pilot was very accommodating to us, listened to our input and suggestions. Larry, Jerry, Bill, and the rest of the Goose crew gave us free reign to play, posing multiple times for period looking scenes. Thank you all for a very enjoyable day.
For those who have not taken a ride on the Goose, I highly recommend it.....long live the Southern!
