Locomotive #1 42" Gauge 2-4-2 of the Rio Grande Railroad Question.

August 15, 2010 07:56PM avatar
I was looking around on the "Surviving Steam" website and discovered this locomotive (#1 2-4-2 42") under the Texas page. Could any one provided me with more information on this engine and the line it ran on the "Rio Grande Railroad" located in Mexico. Does this line have any relations to the Denver and Rio Grande? The locomotive is on display at the Historic Brownsville Museum, Brownsville, TX.
