Richardson's Narrow Gauge News states that the rotary left Alamosa around 3AM on the 10th and made it to Chama shortly before midnight on the 10th pushed by 492, 482 and 499. On the 11th, it appears that engines 499 and 482 managed to make it back to Alamosa and be back in Chama within 24 hours with a freight, and also apparently hauled the spreader and flanger both ways as well.
