Those cabooses with siderods are really a lot more accurate than the Strasburg's creation. The "prototype" had inside cylinders (or cylinder, I don't know much about them). The only way you could really have a "real" one is by building from scratch, we never used any inside cylinder engines.
Surprised the creator didn't fashion it after a pannier tank, the Brits go bonkers over them suckers. Probably thought there looks would horrify the kiddies. LOL.
