What is the logic of rebuilding a unique existing car into a coach or concession car instead of building a new car from the ground up using one of the existing coaches as a prototype?
The only logic I can see is if there is a prohibition on building new wooden passenger equipment, but not on rebuilding existing equipment. It would be nice if we could keep one example of each type of equipment, i.e. RPO, baggage, combine, etc. for historical purposes.
Whuts the deal??
