We're not anywhere near talking about crossing the D&S on 12th Street. That crossing plus a bridge across Cement Creek are major obstacles, but necessary if the 315 is ever to have access to the track up the river. There may be alternatives, but realistically the present track needs to be completed and have things settle in. We can always build an operating section out of town that captures the Animas River canyon and work towards a connection with what is being built now when that time comes. We need money, equipment and an operator, and that's the focus now, to answer those basic questions.
