Living here in SW colorado, I've seen the ones in fire towers before that were purpose built for the Forest Service that had insulators that seemed to have been designed for chairs. This was the first time I'd seen regular pole line insulators screwed on the legs upside down... it tickled my fancy, because I have an almost identical chair, and several cases of new old stock Army Signal corp insulators...I like the description of the multi function insulator/leveler/carpet glide
