Last year on our way to Railfest, my dad and I stopped to view the cars and locomotive in the weeds. Both standard and narrow gauge cars. While looking, Don Shanks walked out and struck up a conversation. He agreed to soom photos and told some stories, then we were on our way.

It is interesting to note that he does have a few interesting ng cars in various stages of "repair."
