425 NUMBERS,,,, Call the Question!

OK.. Gang.... It's time that I "Call the Question".... We are running out of time to get the change over from where we are at now, to where we will end up.

So I would like everyones best decisions on which number style to use for each of the numbers ( 4, 2, and 5 ) as a set, mix or match, and the size, and or proportions that you all believe to be the most correct, and historical correct for 1917 when 315 was first on the D.& R.G.. And what you believe the correct spacing for that combination of numbers should be.

Seriously seeking your input, there is no right or wrong, ( except using Helvetica font)

This isn't a democratic vote, but looking for the best consensus to which would be "Right" of the time period, and why you think that way.

I have pressed the powers to be to come to a decision on the end goal, it hasn't been finalized, and your input may help the decision process.


I will be returning to Chama again this Thurs. 7/22/21, to continue re-painting 425s cab exterior, and possibly start on the re-numbering process.
