Re: "Yard" Sales

Hi,
I talked to Harper about 2000/2001 about purchasing 04442 that is at the Tacoma siding. According to what I've been told, this was one of the crew cars that went out with OY or OM when fighting snow.
I was told at the time that 1) the cars had irreplaceable parts that the D&S might need (since then, there have been yard sales - times/priorities change) and 2) they were not in rolling condition and it would be impossible to get them off the mountain.
If some sort of deal could be set up that enough restoration to the equipment at Tacoma could be done so it/they could be gotten to say Rockwood and trucked out from there, maybe the D&S would be interested. By the time I'd thought of it, I could not afford it, maybe someone else could.
