There were several short plate girder spans on Marshall. One near Otto, at Mears Jct, between Mears & Shirley, on the Shirley loop, etc.

ISTR reading somewhere that several of the original spans intended for the iron bridges at Cascade & Lobato were used for these, delaying the erection of said bridges until the D&RG could get replacements.

Early on there were several large trestles on Marshall too but these were all filled around 1890-1910.
