Wow, that was a fast rebuild of the running gear. Well at least now she will be running strong for many years to come.

Does anyone else ever get the feeling the 473 is the luckiest ex-D&RGW locomotive in existence? I mean, with everything that has happened to her in her history, being thrown off hills, burned in roundhouse fires, hit by a Potato truck.....and yet, she steams on. Hands down my favorite locomotive of all time
