The trucks for the frameless "Gramps" tankcars will come from several of the narrow frame UTLX tankcars presently on the C&TS. Those cars in turn will receive the historically correct archbar trucks that were obtained from Alder Gulch last year in a cooperative venture between the Friends of the C&TS and the Monatana Historical Foundation. Eventually, there should be enough of the correct trucks to outfit all six of the narrow frame tanks. The narrow frame tanks came back from the WP&Y with the original trucks from the frameless tanks.
