Yes, he is Vice-President, Network Development at BNSF. Prior to that, he was head of the SP's marketing & sales department. He left SP (with a large golden parachute) at the UP merger and went to BNSF.
Used to be very active in various east coast railfan groups and he wrote several articles for TRAINS in the 1960's and 1970's.
