I have two cars that represent recent outshops and are in pretty decent condition with light weathering and those two will have the stripes fairly visable. As for the others, some will get varying levels of a dusting with the airbrush just for effect and the rest will be left alone.
This train is being set up to run at the LA Co. Fair this year on the mountain line. She will have good exposure to the guests inside the gate of the garden railroad. Thousand's of people will get to see the trains run by and us freight guys would like the guests to notice our trains also. The passenger guys seem to get all the attention.
But it is great now as we have a couple of K's running the line with a full complement of 1:20 cars to pull thanks to the great guys at Bachmann !!!
Looks like my 1:29 U50 and F45 will take a fair off. I did run my pair of Rio Grande GP30's all fair last year trying to spread the word of the Grande!
