Two NG modeling questions

Did the Rio Grande have a rule about box cars in motion should have their doors shut at all times?
I am getting a train ready for this years LA Co. fair at Fairplex and I wanted to detail an interior of a box car

And I have looked thru the search engine for photo's of wheelsets with white stripes painted on them. I learned of different types of applications used by NG railroads over the years. I am going to make a jig to paint my wheelsets and was curious if the paint was on the wheel rim alone or on the face also. Good photo's are hard to find as most wheel faces were covered in grease. Jeff, could you shoot me one of what you got at Knott's?

On a side note while looking thru my trips from 07 and 08 for photo's, I found these guys who are big fans of steam like us.
