The 1962 trip took place May 27, 28, 29.
May 27 the trip went from Alamosa to Durango using engine 487.
May 28 Engine 473 was used on the Durango to Silveton and return to Durango.
May 29 The trip returned to Alamosa from Durango with engine 487. Engine 491 was used as helper Chama to Cumbres.

The 1963 trip took place May 30, 31, June 1
May 30 Alamosa to Durango with engine 488
May 31 Durango to Silverton and return to Durango with engine 478
June 1 Durango to Alamosa with engine 488. Engine 498 was used as helper Chama to Cumbres.
