The volunteers that helped in 1970 should be honored. I was not one of them as I was only 3 years old at the time.
I don't know if you will be able to find 40 or 50-60 of the core volunteers that helped all summer. After all, it is 40 years after the event. I would imagine that more than a few of the 70 have passed on to their reward.
I hope to be able to commit to being a sponsor. It is a worthy cause and a fun train ride.
