Alex,

While everyone at the Loop and otherwise would love to see the #111 arrive in Plume ready to steam, the political mess it is involved in may prove to be to its own detriment. There has been a significant amount of work performed on the engine in Strasburg, CO, but it remains to be seen if that work is satisfactory or fully completed. There is hope that it will make it to the Loop sometime soon, but that has been the case for 5 years now.
