Incomplete Paint Job?

When we were on top 489 cleaning it, it was obvious that much work could be done, beyond pressure washing, and a quick paint job. But there was a limit to the time available. We would have loved to do a first class repaint - frame, cab, etc. Also, polishing the rods would have been nice. All this was discussed as we worked. As far as graphite for the smoke box, that would have been great! but, again, time and money were the limiting factors.
