473 and 478 - 5 minutes at Tank Creek

With DSNG running double headed K28s on the third train during the peak of the Silverton season, Jeff Miller and I decided to hike from Rockwood to Tank Creek to document the 4 engine action.
We shot the first two K36 powered trains (a possible future post), but our main quarry was the 478 and 473 double header.
Double stack talk announced the train long before 478 and 473 came poking around the bend and the twisting trackage along the Animas River
