The for the first time in nearly two years, the Curmudgeon Car (the rider gon) will be transporting
not just one, but three - three, count 'em, three* - of the Original Five Curmudgeons, identified by
Roger as the 'Five Old Farts' who contributed to the "Help Save #483" screen saver in 2005. They
will be joined by at least two apprentice Curmudgeons - Michael Ripley and Steve Forney.  IIRC,
Bill Gould has also submitted an application. Although the walls of this car are not high and it is
unroofed, it is unlikely that any of the Curmudgeons will escape to terrorize the countryside, in
spite of the expected nearly-full moon, as it is expected that they will be anesthetized by ample
quantities of bootlegged Arrogant Bastard Ale and other comestibles.

* Actually only 2½, as Roger was not present in June, 2008, and will be riding only from Sublette to Osier & return this year.
