Stephen Satherley in 1968 caught A424 pulling up for a Crewchange at Tawhai on the West coast(of the South Is). A423 is in the Loop. The Trackgang observing the interruption to their days work, with the portable heater boiling water for a cuppa in the foreground. Both A class Pacific's were built in New Zealand by A&G Price of Thames.
