I worked for the RC&BT from 1991 to 2001 and #60 never ran there. I was part of the group that hauled her into the shop to do a bit of cosmetic work on her , but mechanically was worn out but not beyond restoration.
RC&BT 50 was a yard switcher only. She was incredibly hard to start on cold mornings had a coffee can for an all or nothing gravity sander and was a major rail hunter so she never ventured much beyond the shop area.
#40 , or as I liked to call her " The Cavalry " was the main yard goat and also ran on the mainline as a helper for 8 car trains when we had to split them at the Switchback and in the winter she would pull 2 coaches up the grade on weekdays.
#10 " The Millie " was a 10 to 12 butt open air speeder with a center mounted engineer used on days when there weren't enough passengers to merit the use of the #40 and 2 cars.
EDIT: The RC&BT #50 that I knew was the second locomotive to have that road number in Felton , the first was the D&RGW 50 which is now running at the CRRM in Golden.
