Bill will be missed. I met him at Strasburg over 30 years ago. He was selling some of his beautiful photos in the railroad's gift shop. I purchased all of his Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad prints. He took them when he followed the line out of York, PA to write a feature article for Trains Magazine. That 1940 article introduced many railfans to the M&P and it's narrow gauge origins. I remember he was quite modest about the quality of his work. Thanks Bill for all the history you captured on film and preserved at Strasburg.
