This light and stack that has been placed on 453 had to have been put on for some type of movie, does anyone have any clues, Durango Roundhouse. also quite a comparison from K-27 to K-37. I has been said that when the K-27's were delivered to the narrow gauge originally that folks called them monsters because how big they were compared to the Consolidations that were running on the majority of the line, I've often wonder what people were saying about the K-37's when they were delivered in Alamosa in 1928?
Also note the tender stirrup's on K=37 490's tender, that's what we call ace-ducey on the horse race tracks, one a little higher than the other.
