IIRC this was the whistle that was stolen. Hopefully someone will have more info on this. Each of the three engines had distinctive sounding whistles, making it easy to determine which one was pulling the train even though they were miles away.
Also Carl Jack blew the whistle differently than Bob Morgan. Morgan blew the whistle like he had a headache.
