Interesting that the notes under Extra 481 west identify the previous day's train that didn't get through as "441". Somebody was lining in the past! 441 was the number of the daily wb freight on 4th division, 2nd district (Alamosa-Chama) back in the old days before all freights became extras! Anybody know when D&RGW quit having scheduled freights Ala-Chama?
ISTR it was late 20's or early 30's?
