I don't know where this rumor has come from but it is FALSE. I wish people would not repeat hearsay gossip without checking thier story.

#18 is getting lifted off it's drivers to have it's tires turned. The #1 driver flanges are worn pretty sharp, and it probably would not make it through the season without having the flanges condemned.

Because of various economic conditions, #18's operating days are being reduced to 3 days/week this season (down from 5 days/week.)
