I will answer for Boomer, our lead on this project. What nice dry shop. They have been doing all the work in the lot at Yankee Machine in Boise, and are actually coming along quite well.
The axles have been cut down to the correct 36", a badly buggered wheel has been rebuilt, and the crews have removed almost everything and rebuilt it, air pump, carberators (it is a GAS mechanical), the radiator, et al.
They are now entering the most fun stage, putting it all back together, with new paint.
Investigation showed that it came to SVRy green, SVRy painted it yellow, then Simplot applied a black. I am not sure exactly what color they will choose. Shinny dark green would be nice, but so then would gray with black trim.
Anyway, we hope to have it on site next year, maybe towards the end of season.
Thanks for the interest
