The water tank sits on 13 acres and is for sale for $140,000.This is the listing description.
Originally was Bondado Watering Station located south of the original Twin Crossings which was the original trail that crossed the Animas and Florida rivers. Has two historic structures, 1880's era wooden tressel and original water tower with panel underneath with original railroad workers initials and dates, 1882 to date. Roughly 1 mile of Animas River frontage and an 1/8 mile of Florida River frontage. Seller currently in process of recording the property as a La Plata County National Historical Site.
