499 maybe Green for Russ

This is the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club special(I think its 1949) arriving back in Salida passing the depot. 499 is the power and I am told it had a green boiler in 1949 for this and perhaps a couple of other trips. Not sure of the date, but there was a caboose on the rear of the train.
If you look at the boiler you can see a nice shine, so perhaps it is the dark green. Sorry the color here was weird, and he never shot the engine other than from the coaches.
As I look at the image it appears the cab roof could be green!!!!
