with regard to the last link, the caption shows the durango smelter with three different names; San Juan Smelting and Mining Co; American Smelting and Refining Co; Vanadium Corp. Albeit, three disparate dates as well; 1892, 1910, and 1942, respectively.

does this mean the smelter changed hands or reorganized at least three times?
