The only "commission" cars I know of that left the property were 2 9600 pipe gons that were traded off in the early 1980's to the D&S for a tie tamper of doubtful use. The other two 9600's now serve as open cars on the passenger trains. Scenic did have number of cars on the property in the 1970's that were sold to various new owners including D&S, NPS, the local camp ground, etc. I think the only cars owned by Scenic that the Commission bought were a box car/snack car, an open gon and the wonderful Scenic caboose.
