Looking at several videos of the EBT on Youtube taken in the last few years. It appears that they were using standard gauge ties on the mainline. I underhand that the shorter ties are a special run item as there isn't a who lot of demand for them. Was this a EBT practice all along or was this something that was instituted after they became a tourist road?
