Hi,
1) If a C16 became operable in the future, a Silverton RR or Silverton Northern RR photo train could be run on the D&SNG. What SNRR/SRR equipment would be available? (It would be nice if the photo freight could operate over the SNRR track being rebuilt.)
2) I found it interesting that the RGS photo freight was considered a plus for the C&TS. The idea for a F&CC photo freight was not immediately frown on and was supported but when the C&S was mentioned it generated a lot of negative reaction. With Kenosha Pass, Boreas Pass, Trout Creek Pass, and Alpine summit having similar grades to Cumbres, it is an unexpected reaction.
3) Montana Southern (ex-F&CC) equipment - is anything remaining in Montana of ex-F&CC up there. Considering how the Friends have restored basket cases, restoring a few cars by a non-Friends of the C&TS group would be possible. I'd love to see a Gold Circle gon if nothing else.
4) Does anyone know where any C&TS/D&RGW pot holders might be available?
