Congratulations to everyone involved with the work in Como. What a difference from the when I visited Como ten years ago.
I am curious about the height of the turntable bridge. In the old DSP&P pictures it looks as if the tracks approach the edge of the pit right on top of the edge stones. It seems like the bridge in the reconstructed turntable sits quite a bit higher. I was just wondering what is different? Does the wall of the pit still need to be built up a little higher?
I have one of the old HOn3 Model Masterpieces kits of the roundhouse and turntable still only partially assembled and maybe all of this exciting construction in Como will motivate me to finish the kit.
